Santa Picture 09!

We went to see Santa the day before Thanksgiving. It was a great success! I was worried that Cade would be scared. They walked right up and took a great picture. The only down side was they wouldn't let you use your cameras. I was bummed about that because I had planned to get a picture for our Christmas card. We got there right as Santa was taking his cookie break so I decided to take some pictures by the big Christmas tree outside Santa workshop and got the perfect picture. You will have to wait till you card to arrives to see it. I have never gotten a more perfect picture for Christmas cards. I was super excited. I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving. We sure did.

2 Months Where did the time go?

Hudson was 8 weeks on Monday. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. Hudson now weighs 12 & 1/2 lbs & is 22 5/8 long. He is growing fast & is smiling a lot. I love seeing his sweet smile. He is still eating 5-6 oz every 4 hrs during the day. His greatest achievement is sleeping through the night. He goes down between 9:30 & 10:30 and sleep till 6 or 7. I am a much happier Mommy when I have sleep.

Hunter will start playing indoor soccer next month so we will continue our busy schedule even though outdoor soccer is over till March. We are looking forward to Thanksgiving. Chad's parents will be coming in & we are having Hudson's baptism while they are here.


Cade is has finally stopped crying when I drop him off at pres-school. He would always stop crying the minute I left. He really likes his teachers & playing with his friends!

It was a Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween. We headed over to a neighbors house for a pre-trick or treat dinner then the boys were off to trick or treat. Hunter is getting so big and independent that is was hard to keep up with. Chad & I finally had to divide and conquer. Cade had fun knocking on doors. He knew he couldn't go if the porch light wasn't on so he would get excited when the light was on. They both made out with way to much candy. I am thinking it will be making its way into the trash! Hudson was a trooper. He snoozed in the stroller all night. Hope everyone had a great Halloween.

Hudson is a Month old!

Hudson turned a month old yesterday. Today he had his 1 month well and is doing great. He now weighs 9lbs & 9oz. He is 21 3/4 inches long. He is becoming a chunky monkey eating 5-6 oz at every feeding. He is still a very easy going baby. He is starting to stay awake more and is eating every 4 hours.
We are getting into a pretty good routine now we just need Hudson to sleep all night. I can't complain to much as he is only getting up once at night! The adjustment from 2 to 3 kids hasn't been bad at all. I am so blessed to have 3 of the best boys plus one awesome hubby!

Hudson Oliver!

Hudson Oliver made his appearance in the world a little over a week ago. We are so glad he is here. Hunter & Cade think he is the greatest little brother. They have been so great with him & don't like to hear him cry. It has been an adjustment going from 2 to 3 kids but it hasn't been to bad. Chad & I are learning to live with little sleep again. Hudson is a pretty good baby. He doesn't cry unless he is hungry or needs a diaper change. I am looking forward to getting into more of a routine in the next couple of weeks. Here are some pics.

Cade's 1st day of Preschool

Cade started preschool yesterday! I was worried he might have a hard time but he did great. He kept asking me all morning of it was time to go yet. He started to get teary eyed when we got to his classroom but that soon turned into a smile as he saw the play dough. He even posed for a picture. I am sure it will be a great year for him. He has the same teacher Hunter had when he started preschool. She is a wonderful teacher & truly loves what she does.
I was a little lost without Cade. I kept looking for him. I freaked a couple of times when I saw he wasn't in the car! I look forward to tomorrow since it will be my last day kidless. Only a few more days till Husdon arrives. We can't wait!

Hunter's 1st day of Kindergarten!

Hunter started Kindergarten today. He has been ready to go back to school since he got out of preschool in the spring. He absolutely loves school & is a very social kid. He went to his class and sat down and started doing what he was supposed to do as Mom left the room in tears. I really didn't think it would get to me. He has really started to change & become this independent person. I don't like it so much. I tell him all the time I don't want him to grow up & he tells me "but Mom I have too." He always assured me it will be okay. I will always be his best Mommy, he says. We only had one mishap. Hunter rides the bus. We took him to school today but let him ride the bus home. He got off a stop to early & had Mommy a little panicked. He walked home with his neighbor friend who I had told him to get off the bus with. So he did follow my directions!Hopefully tomorrow will be better as he will ride the bus to & from school. Here are some pictures from this morning.
